Girls' Generation member and actress Seohyun received acting advice from fellow members Yoona and Yuri.
A press conference was held at the 63 Building in Seoul for SBS drama "Hot Love" (written by Park Ye Kyung, produced by Bae Tae Sub) on September 23. At the press conference, Seohyun revealed, "Yoona, Yuri, and other experienced actresses told me I shouldn't be too ambitious."
She continued, "They told me that since it's my first time acting, I won't be satisfied with my work. They told me not to be too ambitious, and to empty my mind and just try my best." She went on, "I'm not satisfied with the product, but it was a lot of fun. There's a different kind of excitement to acting. The more time I spent acting, the more ambitious I got. Currently I toggle between my singing activities and my sleep time.
Sometimes I'll only get 1 hour of sleep before going to a shooting, but I'm so happy because everyone's so kind to me, and we're able to finish filming in an enjoyable manner."
Seohyun plays the role of Han Yoo Rim, the older sister of Han Yoo Jung (played by Choi Yoon Young), who is the first love of Kang Moo Yeol (played by Lee Won Geun).
