Member of Girls' Generation and Shinhwa will battle head to head on a new dance survival show 'Dancing 9' which is set to premiere on July 20. Shinhwa's Lee Min Woo, Girls' Generation's Yuri and Hyoyeon will be participating on the show as dance masters on rival teams.
The show will feature 9 dance masters who will be split into two teams to train their contestants. The final winner as well as the winning team will be selected after rounds of competitions.
Lee Min Woo will be on team 'Red Wings' along with experts in dance sports, jazz dance, popping. On the other hand, Yuri and Hyoyeon will be on team 'Blue Eye' with experts in contemporary ballet, dance sports and break dance.
Kim Yong Bum, the producer of the show, stated, "The two teams have very different colors. Red Wings are more passionate and emotional whereas Blue Eyes are analytical and methodical. The rivalry between the two polar opposite teams will be the focal point of the show."
