According to several reports on August 20, Big Bang’s Seungri and former Wonder Girls member Sun Mi will appear on the same episode of Mnet’s M-Countdown on the 22th.
Seungri swept both domestic and foreign music charts with the release of his solo EP, Let’s Talk About Love, on the 19th. He will perform the lead song from the EP, “Gotta Talk To U,” and “GG BE” for the first time on TV.
Seungri drew attention with a somewhat restrained masculinity in the music video of “Gotta Talk To U.” It was a different image from his previous one, in which he was morelively. In the upcoming performance, Seungri is expected to exhibit a man’s sensitivity for his loved one with a lyrical song.
Meanwhile, Sun Mi is coming out with a solo single titled “24 Hours.” Before release of the digital version of the single on August 26, she performs it on M-Countdown. The song will express women’s nervous and excited feelings when they fall in love. It’s a completely different charm from what she showed in the Wonder Girls in the past. Her music video is scheduled to be unveiled on the 20th in the afternoon.
On the 20th, an official of Sum Mi’s agency said, “Park Jin Young led the production of the album, including the songs, choreography, music video, and style, under the concept of a 2013 style of a coming-of-age ceremony. We decided to release the music video and hold the performance first to emphasize the overall artistic aspects of concept and the performance, not just the songs.”
